EGADS, I hate working with the stuff. Hate. Grr. Give me a pencil or pen any day. Reading my journal to Prof. Mayer's going to be fun, haha. We're supposed to give examples of differences in using charcoal vs. pen or pencil, and say which we prefer and why. It's just so hard to work with. I appreciate the extreme level of blackness you get from it--it must the darkest black you can get from dry media--but the mess and lack of control outweigh the positive. -_-
