(no subject)

I spent today exhausted like whoa. Waking up this morning was so hard. I got up because the dog was waiting for me. Oh, and LJ was unblocked for all of five minutes this morning! Then when I went to post, it was gone again. XD;; Dad said he has a feeling the filter doesn't kick in until 10am. I'll have to check tomorrow. I'm curious.

I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I love my school counselor. Seriously, Prof. Nelson's so damn awesome. He was giving us tips on how to prepare for/do well on tests, and one of the things he mentioned was "bring a sweater, especially in the summer", which led to an explanation that went something like this: In the summer, the clothes come off. Guys wear less to show off their muscles, girls wear less to show off... err, everything else. And he was taking a break one day, walking down a hallway in the main building to go take a walk around the block, and saw this chick walking toward him in hooker boots, a miniskirt, and a TRANSPARENT PLASTIC TOP WITH STRATEGICALLY-PLACED (we hoped) BLACK POLKA DOTS. Oh, and no bra. Due to things like that, he said LaGuardia freezes the classrooms in the warmer months. We were rolling. His class is hilarious, he always has anecdotes like this to tell us. Someone else was saying at the end of class how one of her friends is taking New Student Seminar too, with someone else of course, and hates it.

Right, some food, and then I'll try more art. 'Tis Monday, after all. I still have a 18x24 drawing to do, and for that I need two more objects.
