Painting in progress!

Almost finished. I worked on it for hours after we got back home from the college fair. I had a drawing manikin in it, got frustrated with it, removed it entirely, and put the sketchbook in its place... which sometimes looks okay and sometimes looks like WTF ANGLE. But I had to throw it in there because there was this huge empty space, and I couldn't have that. I have to fix the shadows and add stuff that's missing (poor Layton has no face, haha), but for the most part I'm happy with it. I really like Andy.

Tomorrow, finishing this up, and redoing my value scale grid. I really don't want to do that thing over, but the colors got very iffy toward the end of the scale due to mixing in way too much black, so I need to do it again and mix in less black and white this time.

Right. I need to go to sleep now.

Oh; I bought (because I'm stupid) Pokemon SoulSilver, Punch-Out!!, and House of the Dead 2 & 3. I've wanted some new games. And SoulSilver's been taunting me. I had Silver way back, think I still do somewhere, and I missed it. It was the only Pokemon game I ever bought, but it was fun when it was pissing me off. XD;; So yeah, got that, caught a Mareep, will be evolving it to Ampharos and kicking everyone's ass with it like I did last time. Haven't played the Wii games yet, but I will as soon as I'm done with the painting and illustration assignments.
