Yeah, so, school.
Mar. 10th, 2011 04:19 pmWent to Intermediate Painting. Will be lots of work, interesting stuff I imagine, and like Art & Design Seminar, most of the work will be done outside of class time. The GOOD part of that is that the painting studio is completely free for the rest of the day on Thursdays, so I could spend all day working on stuff for IP and A&DS. Therefore, the five-hour gap between Painting and Astronomy wouldn't be (much of) a problem.
My gut tells me to drop the class, though. I don't know. I just feel like I should. I talked to Mom about it; she said follow my gut. Part of me thinks, okay, I'll learn some awesome stuff, but I have Bruce for A&DS; we'll be doing at least some of the same stuff. He already mentioned two movies he wants to show IP that we're definitely watching in A&DS. I have a feeling that between Graphic Narrative, IP, and A&DS, plus Writing and Astronomy, I'll have too much to do. Dropping the class opens me up to possibly getting a part-time gig somewhere, too.

ANYWAY. Went to work! Saw pretty much all my former coworkers that were still around. They all said I look much happier, haha. Yeah. Not surprising, and totally fitting.
