Emma: Do you have any plans for Friday?
Me: Just the performance at 7:30, maybe going to Heather's.
Emma: Oh, okay. It's (her boyfriend) Moffa's birthday. *beat* Do you want to drink?
FAIL. XD;; NOT the way to invite someone to a party, Emma. Especially someone you KNOW doesn't have any desire to drink. I'm probably going to Heather's dorm anyway. She got a game and we're supposed to be playing.
She takes subtle jabs at me sometimes. Like, she came in a little while ago and was like, "Oh, you're already in bed." (I'm not going to sleep or anything, I'm just under my sheets and reading for class tomorrow.) I told her I'm studying. I know she thinks I'm boring. Whatever. :D Besides, I have class at 10:30 in the morning. SHE has class at 1:00pm. She can freaking be out all night if she wants to. (She seems to be able to run on 2-3 hours of sleep, also, whereas I am NOT moving with that little sleep.) My class is an hour and a half long and practically the equivalent of a level-300 class even though it is the lowest religion class in the entire department. I need to be coherent and able to recall things.
Seriously, Mom's asking me what she's doing for the break and trying to get me to ask her if she wants to spend it with us. I think that would drive me crazy. We're roommates, and we're friends... but not to the point that I want to spend five days with her. There are some people here that I'd totally bring home if they had nothing else to do, but those people have much more in common with me.
This song makes me think of SNES!Sparkster. Holy crap. I wanna play it now. I need a controller!
Oh. Film project for religion class. I've ended up being the director because, according to my classmates, I have an artistic eye. Because I rotated the camera while Chelsea was running up the stairs in Cloister from vertical to horizontal. Apparently I have an eye for this stuff. XD;; Just shoehorn me in there, guys. This also means I'm not actually IN the film, I'm just behind the scenes. I'm okay with it, though. It should be fun, and I won't be calling ALL the shots, I'll just be the one making the final decisions should an argument come up.
Weird moment of the day: I said something during our brainstorming session, and afterwards, was aware of Feleen staring at me. She was only on the other side of Chelsea, who I was sitting next to, so I saw her out of the corner of my eye the second she looked at me. She just kept staring even while everyone else was still talking. She didn't stop until I looked directly at her. Not at all sure what to make of that. o_o;
