What. The fuck.

I took the unsubsidized loan check to the bursar on Monday, the way I did last time. Last time, they took the check back, printed out the loan info, had me write "I am returning Unsub loan check" on it, and made a copy for me. Done.
THIS time, they said I had to cash the check and bring them the cash. I was not happy about that, but fine.
TODAY, I brought the money to them. They looked at me like I was stupid. They then told me I need to go to SFS (AKA a bunch of rude CUNY employees that are probably in it for the tuition waiver) to tell them what I want to do. They were convinced, despite my saying otherwise twice, that I was trying to pay them money, not return it.
I would have done that today, but I had to come home and walk the dog because Mom + Vicodin = no. I can't go tomorrow unless I cancel the museum trip. Tomorrow's the last day this week SFS is open. There is constantly a SHITLOAD of people in there because this is registration time, so I will end up spending an hour or two waiting, probably for them to tell me (like they did last time) "We don't handle money, that needs to go to the bursar". If they say that, I'm going to snap. I'm not paying interest on something I don't want.
In short: The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
No more loans for me. They'll just have to get their money in installments. I'm done.
