Rocco Dispirito's black bean brownies
Someone's black bean brownies according to his recipe
That result, the one in the second link? Someone else had theirs come out the same way, looking like cracked mud. Others have mentioned it as well. MANY others. I am not enthusiastic now. Mom thinks she got enough black beans to make two batches, so I think we're gonna do one the way he says and tweak the second one. There are actually two recipes he has, with slightly different ingredients. This one doesn't have flour. I've actually found another one that's ridiculously simple--just 15 oz of black beans and brownie mix from a box--and I think I might try that one instead of the second Rocco recipe. I'm not amused now, because there's no way multiple people could've gotten this result and he got brownies that look like they came from a Duncan Hines box. Not cool, man.
Has anyone tried them, or know anyone that has?
