Dad just asked me if I'd like to go to his church with him next Sunday. I won't be up here then, but I said I'd go the following Sunday. Just told him not to make a habit out of it. ^^

If he can take me to church, I can make him read up on Paganism. At least, that's how I see it. But I didn't say I'd go for that. I said I'd go because this time, he asked me, as opposed to the last time, when he was like, "We're going to church next Sunday."

He says the place is pretty informal--one could wear jeans if they want, women wear pants (HUGE relief to me) if they want to, and everyone is welcome. We'll see about that, hehe. I'm probably going to get approached and asked about becoming a member, but I'll let them down gently.

have fun at church ;) though it was nice of him to ASK this time...you really should talk to my roommate Laura, well damnit she is technically no longer my roommate, but she'll always be in my heart. She knows quite a lot about wicca

I think I'm more spiritual than religious, because I tend not to think about rituals and stuff... I guess maybe Dad might understand that.

Ha ha, that actually reminds me of something that happened at work today. ^^

This guy I was baggging for gave me and the cashier I was working with a little yellow pamphlet-thing, and mentioned that we're were invited to join his church, I think he was the priest, or something; as it was a Catholic church.

Well, I'm SO not religious. I mean, I don't believe in God. I just don't.

((Though I'm all for the pentacle. ^-^ Wicca is so fascinating. ^-^))

Anyway, I just kinda smiled, took it, and thanked him. I mean, I wasn't sure how to tell him I'm not interested. That and, I was at work. So, yeah.

Read it out of curiousity, then tossed it away.

No force could convert this little atheist. ^-^

...Cept for Wicca maybe...but, I'm still not sure. ^^;;

That's how I'll feel if the minister tries to get me to join the church. I've got nothing against people practicing the religion or anything. I've got my own personal problems with it... like, I don't agree with certain things, like how so many people picture God. I can't imagine someone who's supposed to be so loving just toss me into the fire because he doesn't like what I've done. After he gave me the free will to do whatever I want. 9_9

I'll just tell them it's not for me. Because it's not, really. It's for Dad, and other people, and that's fine... but not for me. My beliefs are much more in line with Paganism... Wicca specifically.

Exactly. And someone who has "created us all" and such; and wanting us to be happy...yet, when he sees someone who loves their own gender, it's..."You're going to Hell, sinner!!!! ::hiiiissss::" So, yeah. To me..."God" is just a 3 lettered word. ^^;;

But, Wicca's really interesting. ^-^ Salem is a good place to go for pentacles, and Wiccan things. <3
