*neglected the internet this weekend*
Oct. 21st, 2007 09:14 pmBrother being here kept me off the computer. Also kept me exhausted because I foolishly told him I have internet connectivity in this room that I usually use for the Wii. Cue a full two days (and nights) of Halo 3. ^^; Last time he came here, I didn't have the wire running in here from the router, so he had to stick with campaign and be happy. So, yeah, my sleep sucked, and my internal clock kept me from going BACK to sleep when I woke up too early.
And I had Beautiful Katamari to play before he woke up.
Speaking of... that game's difficulty level is significantly higher than the previous games'. (With the exception of Me & My Katamari, because I never played that, it being on the PSP and all. And they said the rolling sucked in that game because there's only one analog stick.) The requirements are strict, and, unless this was around in M&MK, there's a new points system that rates your performance... and even when you think you haven't done too badly, you still suck. XD; There's one level I've done once (actually twice, because Craig shut the game off before I could save) and won't do again if you pay me... although I think I still need to get cousins/presents there, so I'll have to go back eventually. Still, despite the game being "Katamari Pro Mode" as someone on a forum said, it's still fun, and I can see myself going through the levels (except Mars, ew) trying to get a perfect 120 points on each. I guess the guy was right, and they really think that, by now, anyone buying new Katamari games MUST be good at them. XD
Only thing... I apparently don't have the entire game. There's downloadable content on Xbox Live... four levels and eight cousins, I believe. Something like that. Will end up costing at least $10. So, really, the game doesn't cost $40. And buying the stuff only unlocks things already on the disc. 9_9 I think it's coming out on the Wii. If it does without making you pay for stuff you already have, I'll get it on the Wii instead and get rid of this one. Love the game, but I want everything, you know? They're full of it if they think I'm forking over money for access to things already on my game. Oh, and you get achievements for buying stuff.
Post office tomorrow during work. Have to mail the ZVM back to Creative (yeah, haven't done it yet), and send Beth's Pikachu 2. Speaking of, sorry, Beth! I needed to find something to put it in... and I found a padded envelope, but it was too big. I just spent a bit cutting it down to a good size. So, it should be with you soon. ^_^
We stopped by Whole Foods today. (Mom and I have been meaning to for a while now.) You know something? When I finally stop being such a picky eater and want to eat healthier, I can totally go there to figure out the kinds of foods I should eat. SO much organic/healthy food. Anyway, some of the prices are a little high, but Mom and I have both decided we like that place, even if it's just for the convenience. They have everything.
