May. 1st, 2010 01:51 pm... I need a nap. XD;; I was working on my ePortfolio (a kind of webpage for LaGuardia students for showcasing their work, resume, etc., for schools and employers), which I've decided to do with the intermediate templates, not the tired basic templates. Seriously, the basic ones are exactly that. There's nothing fun about them at all. Downloaded Netscape Composer, forgetting that I have the entire Adobe Master Collection and therefore Dreamweaver. (Speaking of Netscape, I had no idea it was dead!) I think I might start the pages in Composer and do the rest of the editing in Dreamweaver... but I think I just need to get used to DW. It's a little weird after switching from Composer. But anyway, I'll do Illustration homework and stuff later. I'm too tired to focus on that right now. I need to get in my bed and put on something mindless and doze.
Mom went shopping and bought steak and crab legs. :D I love my mommy. Well, I paid for it, but she saw it and went to Pathmark, so still.
Oh, easel (did I say I got the easel?) is being sent back and replaced! There was a piece broken off when I opened it, and while I assembled it (the majority of it's pre-assembled), I couldn't get that broken piece off. I e-mailed Blick saying I needed a replacement, and I meant a replacement knob, but they're sending me a whole new easel, which is fine by me. And I get a prepaid mailing label to send them the broken one. And of course I don't get billed for the new one. So, will have to do without the yay!easel for a bit longer, but hopefully the next one will be completely intact. I wouldn't have cared if I could've removed the broken knob, but it's on there. Really. It's probably just as well that they're sending a new easel.
Also: It's hot today. In the 80s. The flies have decided to come cool off in our living room. Oliver came to get me (like, walked right up under my legs while I was sitting here at my desk and looked up at me), and led me out to the hallway, but would not go into the living room. I think he was a little spooked by all the visitors, haha. One fly, he'd be trying to eat it if it flew close enough to his face. 10-15 flies? He comes to get me, like, "All right, do something about this. It's freaking me out." XD We have fly paper hanging from the ceiling, but so far they've been flying too low to hit it. Hoping it either drops down lower, or they start flying higher. The Wii's up there and I can't play it with them flying around annoying me. (At least they're not the noisy kind.) Played a bit of Punch-Out!! this morning. I like, but I've gotta get used to it. Wii Sports boxing, it is not.
Right, sleep!
