meitantei_cjNearly four hours on that freaking bus. Don't ask me why the stupid driver took Route 17. That was the dumbest move ever. It was a good waste of an hour.
Oh, and ShortLine? You know where you can shove your noisy-assed air-powered windshield wipers.
Saw the two Phantom Thief Kid episodes in English. Kid's dubbed voice actor sounds a HELL of a lot like Jerry Jewell... only he's not. But that works, because he and Shinichi are supposed to have similar voices. I thought it was too deep at first (which was what worried me when I started thinking about Jerry doing both voices), but it grew on me.
Craig and I were making comments all through the two episodes, but I made him shut up when Conan was explaining how he knew who Kid was. I wanted to see how Kid talked about Rachel not wearing any clothes and showing off her bra. Made me die. I had to rewind it. I've been saying it since.
I love Kaitou Kid. XD
Went to Borders today to pick up something I saw on Amazon last night. REALLY wish I could work there. I couldn't hate Joan enough right now. Desperately want out of there, and I'd transfer, but I'd need to find an agency that's downstate that actually has an opening. I'm hoping that since they've opened up the title for testing again, they need people. That Borders just seems so fun, and has a really great energy. Then again, I guess that's why that one's probably not hiring--everyone loves it there and doesn't want to leave. The place seems quite well staffed.

Date: 2005-10-15 07:44 am (UTC)I love Kid, he's so huggable; I loved him in the third movie "Last Wizard of the Century" that and "Phantom of Baker Street" and "Crossroads in the Ancient Capitol" where my favourite movies. (Though I think I liked the latter cause of the little bg love story that goes on in it; and Baker Street just had some awesome action and plot twists and drama in it; and wasn't really so much bout the real murder, but the one in the game. Damn, rambling!)
Yea, I can't watch the dubbed for two reasons, one, the name; and two Detective Mouris voice. I lunged for the remote the few moments I lingered on the channel. There's something about dubs after I've seen a sub that just irks me to no end. I seriously can't watch any dubs after I've seen the sub. *sighs* I'm a subbie through and through.
