meitantei_cjI hear FUNimation has acquired Tsubasa Chronicle. At least the second season has a chance of being safe once it comes out... and honestly, I don't know if they could stop the fansubbers if they tried. Anime-Conan still subs episodes that I know FUNimation has the rights to right now. I'll give it a chance... if they screw up Fay's voice, though, I won't buy it. Butchering my favorite character won't do. And if they say "Sa-KU-ra", I will definitely boycott the US releases. Learn to pronounce simple words, people, it's not that hard.
... That said about Fay, all the KuroganexFay subtext is gonna be cut out or dumbed down to the point of nearly being non-existent if they try to put it on a network (Cartoon Network, anyone?). ;_; If it's strictly DVD release, then maybe they'll leave it... Wha'd they do with Bakuretsu Tenshi/Burst Angel? From what I understand, there's definite JoxMeg subtext or flat-out obviousness... not sure which.
Need to watch that, too. Have a copy of the first DVD sitting in here and haven't looked at it yet. And actually have three more DVDs to copy... guess I'll do that tonight.
Maybe it'll be like Detective Conan, where the main cast's voice actors are actually pretty good, but the characters that only appear for an episode or two suck. (Except Kaitou Kid--he doesn't appear too much in the series, but I liked his dubbed voice. ^^;) I'd be happier with that than anything.
Had a mixed day, would rather not talk about it because the subject has been infuriating me lately. It's not something I want to touch on lately, and tomorrow's Friday, and I need to just be happy that the week is ending. Not happy about having to wake up on Saturday, though, test or not.
