Okay, the test... We were supposed to be there at ten for the test. They didn't actually let us into the school until eleven. Mind you, everyone was freezing, many of us (including me) couldn't feel fingers and toes anymore, and my handwriting/bubbling started off horribly because my fingers were still numb.
But, all that aside, I think I did well. I got the results back for my Secretary test today, too--got an 85. It's not a 90-something, but it's still great. ^_^
And I hung out with Matt today. We were supposed to go see RENT, but he's been teasing me about a surprise for the longest time, and curiosity got the best of me, so we went straight to that. I was blindfolded part of the way. Do you know how scary it is to walk around in Times Square with no vision? XD It was fun, though. He was guiding me, and I couldn't stop laughing.
We ended up at an arcade I knew existed, but had forgotten about. (I had actually been thinking about another arcade I'd been to before.) Lots of fun had there. Know what we played? Mechassault. (They called it Battletech, but it had the same mechs in it as those from Mechassault.) We sat in our own pods, had a throttle, a joystick with buttons on it for the weapons, targeting computers, a huge radar screen, and of course, the screen showing the actual level we were on. It was SO fun. I didn't win, Matt did, but it was a blast. And the attendant said I actually did pretty well for piloting an Owens when nearly everything else around me should have kicked my butt. I ended up in second place. ^_^
We came back here and talked for a while, I showed him the school level of We Love Katamari (just to show him how easy it is to pick everything up XD). He read me a poem he wrote for me and gave me the red, black, and green wristband he always wears. I won't see him again until New Year's Eve, probably... I enjoyed myself, though. He's a great guy. ^^
