meitantei_cjAfter a million tries, I finally reached the Secret Garden in Shadow of the Colossus. Holy crap. XD Very cool place... I wish I could explore more of it, but too many of the walls and structures are too high for me to climb on...
And in searching for a giant hawk that's in the game in a few spots, I found a HUGE tree. Someone called it the Colossus Tree in the boards on GameFAQs. (It's actually at the entrance to #10's cave, but there's got to be more than one entrance. I've never been near that tree. Would have noticed it.) I am in love with that tree. It's all gnarled, completely devoid of leaves, and looks ancient. I want to climb it so bad, but there's nothing to get me up there... The hawk doesn't fly in that direction, it seems. I saved it right there, so I might try again tomorrow.
It amuses me that I'm now playing through this game for the sixth time, and I'm still discovering things.
Whenever I get around to drawing out a map of one of my made-up countries, there's going to be a tree just like that one.
