... Okay, so I (almost) completely forgot about the mouse in favor of reading this Zelda fanfic that I've had my eyes glued to, pretty much since... three, four hours ago. (The mouse not showing itself helped me keep my mind off it, really... even though I thought I saw it dart across the floor at one point.) I haven't even listened to music this whole time. The current music in my previous post was from hours before I actually posted. I've been reading in silence. The story's just that good. (But it's yaoi, which is why I'm not linking it unless someone asks for it. I will not be held responsible if people read and feel the urge to gouge their eyes out with a crusty spork. XD)
I wanted to draw, though. ;_; Even if the mouse hadn't shown up, I wouldn't have gotten anything done. I didn't even type up what I wrote at work. Absolutely no production at all. And it's too late to start now.
Bleh. Oh well. Bed. It's my turn to cover upstairs again tomorrow... but I'm hoping both Sonia and Jannie will be in. It's the middle of the week, and they've both been around since last Friday, and I shall be forced to cry conspiracy if one of them's out.
At least I might not have to worry about it next week. My day is Tuesday then, but since Joanne and I switched days last week and she wasn't back yet to cover mine (and I had to cover for her), she owes me a day. Technically she shouldn't because no one was needed on HER day, but... *shrug* It's a matter of convenience. I'm almost certain I'm going to work on Tuesday and meet Natasha afterwards, but if I don't work, I at least know someone will be ready to take my place upstairs if it's needed.
This isn't good, I'm feeling inspired. I want to write. My eyes hurt like hell from staring at the screen for so long, and it's too late to go pulling out the notebook now, but it's nagging me. -_- I'll go sit in bed and try to get something down before exhaustion finally takes me. 'Night.
