meitantei_cjShe said no more ice cream in this house. She and I are both trying to lose weight.
So what does she do? She goes to Pathmark for something, sees that Haagen Daas ice cream bars are on sale, and grabs, like, four boxes. (Of course, each box is pretty flat and probably only has about four bars in it, but that's beside the point.) She lied. And now I'm gonna have to go get one, because I've actually been craving an ice cream bar, and knowing that the things are right there is enough for me to act on the craving. I think it's residual chocolate craving from the past week.
I think 10's face does a pretty good job of displaying how happy I am to have chocolate. Cold chocolate. And some of the bars are evil/beautiful enough to have chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. Oh my geez.
Mom has this knack for buying things I want, too. She randomly brings home White Castles when I start tasting/smelling them. She and I both end up wanting pizza at the same time. It's weird, but helpful. ^_^
Have had a download going all day. 86%! Has been going for 13 hours now. Will be going for another two hours, at the least. Needs to finish up. One or two people with REALLY nice bandwidth need to come on so my download soars to 200+kb/sec or something.
Books didn't get to the job yet. I'm hoping they get there tomorrow. Tas isn't coming in, so I'm going to have to make myself look busy... I've got stuff to do, but nothing that'll last me the whole day by a longshot, so I'll need to stretch it out... and there's no better way to do that than to read good books. X3
