There's a photo in Metro of a premature baby girl. She was only 9.5 inches long and weighed less than 10 ounces when she was born.

It physically hurts to look at her. She's so tiny. She's a bag of bones. I think if they stretched the diaper she's wearing in the photo out beside her, it'd be longer than she is.

That picture is from October, so maybe she's better now, but... wow. That's all I can really say.

Aaaah I saw about her on the news this afternoon :O They showed her dad holding her just after she'd been born, and the length of her foot was the same as the width of his finger... They showed some footage of her now as well, and even though she's grown I wouldn't say she's as big yet as an average newborn baby.
