meitantei_cjAlyce pulled me aside yesterday while I was reloading the paper for the printer. (She was getting up to do it, but I'd just come back into the office and saw the light blinking, so I did it myself.)
"Are you in school?"
"No, not now. I still have about $900 to pay in back tuition, then I'm going to get myself back into school."
"You should, because you're brilliant, you know that?"
I honestly don't know where that came from. I don't know if she and Dona were talking or if it was just a thought that occurred to her or what. It did perk me up for what little was left of the workday, though.
