My union got a salary increase retroactive to April 2007, so my check had nearly $500 more in it this week. I checked my bank account this morning to find $1,101 in it after rent and other expenses were paid. I threw $350 of that into savings. Somehow got into a discussion about it with Luis, who told me, "Oh, vacation money!"

I started to keep it, I really did, because I need a vacation and I need a change of scenery.

You know where "vacation money" went? STRAIGHT to Brooklyn College. Because someone came in being a nitpicky anus because I forwarded an e-mail from ACS to Albany without shifting the wording around. Apparently wanting Albany to see the exact request straight from the horse's mouth is a no-no. (And yeah, I must be stupid. I must be.) If I do manage to get myself out of here on vacation, I will NOT have a $400 debt hanging over my head to keep me here another freaking minute. I'm tired of the damn migraines. And Mom can blame my weight all she wants, it is NOT causing the damn migraines.

So, broke again. But by Friday at the latest, the debt will be paid off. The registration stop will be removed. If I want to take night classes at BC, I'll be able to do it again after I do whatever it is I need to do to explain why my GPA's fallen below 2.0.

God, the therapist is gonna have fun with me tomorrow. -_-
