meitantei_cjMom had started putting together my dresser. She had dowels and screws in places they shouldn't have been. She does that. She did the same thing with my bed (also from Ikea). It's like she assumes that there's a hole, and it has to be filled with something now, hehe. There was also breakage of wood and having to glue stuff with wood glue (which meant letting it sit for an hour) because stuff kept breaking. I did not have these problems when I did the wardrobes. XD
Oh well. We've got it about half done. There's a part she did herself that I wasn't about to undo just to check her work, so I hope the right pieces are in the right places. ^^; I'd work on more, but the next step in the instructions is to hammer on the backing, and I figured I'd spare people the noise. Going to hang out with Nick tomorrow, so I'll work on it some more on Tuesday.
Got another dog on Nintendogs, haha. I needed another girl, and the breed I really want, I can't get for another 14,000 points. Her name's Cocoa. She's a sheltie. She's an incredibly fast learner compared to the other dogs. Also, I found a soccer ball on one of the walks, so the dogs play with that and I can basically leave them alone. Because it's a larger ball, there's none of that putting it in their mouth and bringing it back to me to play fetch with. Good for letting them play, getting points for spending time with them (which puts me closer to getting a husky!), and being able to do other things. It's also very amusing to watch. They both pick up the ball and toss it with their noses.
