Update

So Dad said Craig was very straightforward with the therapist in terms of what he's feeling. He'll likely be at the hospital until Monday or Tuesday. We're going to visit him Saturday, though Dad's going to visit tonight to drop some things off. Poor kid can't have any video games, or his cell phone (not that he uses it, mind), or his MP3 player. There's a radio, but radio is practically a foreign concept to him with the MP3 player and downloads around. We're bringing all the Halo novels for him to read, and Dona (since I told she and Maureen what was going on) recommended Letters to a Young Brother, so he'll get that, too. The nurses said he seems okay. He ate breakfast and went back to bed, but that's usual for Craig--he doesn't typically wake up until around 11am, and hunger takes a long time to set in when he does wake up.

Oliver's getting groomed at PetSmart on Sunday, by a groomer one of our neighbors in PA recommended. They have a Lhasa also and they always use this groomer. It's going to mess us up a bit in terms of timing, because his appointment's not until 10:30am and he'll probably be there about three hours, but he needs to get groomed, and Michael's shop isn't open today... otherwise I'd have tried to see if I could bring Oliver down there after work, or if Mom could've dropped him down there and I could've picked him up on my way in. He needs it, though. He's a big ball of fluff, his nails need clipping, and there's a mat behind his left ear that I've been slowly working out, but I want to make sure it's actually out... and I think there's one under his left armpit, too, which keeps popping up. We're likely shaving him down, though, so that won't be a problem for long. They're keeping his tail the way it is, though. I like its fluff.

Also, next time I have some spare money, I want to get that dog DNA kit. Almost positive Oliver's a Shihapso, but I swear there's a herding dog in there somewhere. Was also very amused at work while Googling "shihapso" and finding someone with one: They said their dog is confused and acts more like a cat, and their vet insists they have a dog. It's possible Oliver didn't grow up with cats at all. XD

He just snored, haha. Kinda wish we could take him to visit Craig. I think Craig could use it.
