There's a mayor in upstate New York that's doing what the mayor in San Francisco's doing. Or he plans to. He said there's nothing in the state's... constitution, I guess?... in our laws that define marriages as man-and-woman.

The health department said a marriage relations law doesn't allow for same-sex marriages, and they're going to uphold it. They're going to do SOMETHING to any official that hands out marriage licenses to gay couples. What that something is, I can't remember. My point is...

The HEALTH department, which should be more concerned with violations businesses have that are causing disease and such. 9_9 Grow up, people. Stop hindering progress.

Anyway. Going to copy my CD, and get dressed, and pack up my laptop and stuff. It's Friday, baby.

Mom just called...

She said there was a fatal shooting down in Coney Island where the trains are kept. According to the news (Fox news... ew. But they were the only ones showing anything.), they were looking for a black man who may have fled on an F train.

Mom works on the F train. She noticed a black guy on the Manhattan-bound side (she was on the Brooklyn-bound side), sitting in the train, in a car by himself. She said they've probably already caught the guy.

Stupid. 9_9 You know you did wrong, so you're going to be the only one in a car?

And now that I'm home...

I got a letter from HRC (Human Rights Campaign, if you haven't heard by now) asking for a donation and giving me random stuff. One of the things was an equality sticker. I slapped it right on my bookbag. ^_^ I carry that thing around everywhere, it's almost like putting the sticker on my head. This way I can show support and still stay closeted to Dad. XD;; I can just say I support gay rights if he asks, and he won't suspect.

Until I bring Renee to the house and tell him she's a lesbian. XDDD *shot*

Speaking of Renee, she says she can't wait to see me again. *gush* Anyway. ^____^

You know what's going to happen? The admins are going to get complaints because the Fanart section's going to get WAY too big, and there aren't any subcategories for fanart. And you can't search unless you pay for the service. A lot of people don't pay and probably won't due to getting kicked around so much.

Which, of course, means that dA's admins are going to create the subcategories for Fanart (books, video games, anime, etc...) two or three months from now and give everyone the ultimatum that they'll have to move their stuff to the right categories or eventually have it deleted. Same thing they do every night, Pinky.

Yes. I think I'm starting to see how their minds work. ^_^;
