Aug. 23rd, 2004 07:39 pmHad no internet for most of today because Dad was working on the electricity downstairs. Not that it would've mattered anyway, though, because Craig and I had to mow the lawn! X3;;
I really don't know how we're going to leave for NY tomorrow if the Sedona isn't fixed yet. We need two people to get that car, one to drive the other out, so there are two people to drive both cars back. If the car's not fixed by tomorrow, and Mom and I leave, how's Dad going to get his car out of the shop?
Anyway... lawn-mowing is hard work, geez. Especially with our lawn. Both sides of the house, and the front on either side of the driveway. Lots of work to be done. But it's done, and it looks good, and I got a nice little workout out of pushing that thing and emptying the bags and such. Wasn't bad. And it's a really quiet mower.
The girls from next door (opposite direction of Matt and the other goblins) came over for a while. I hid in my room. They whine too much... and while I was mowing, they kept distracting me... and I should have told them off for it, but I left it alone.
Mom said that kids just like me for some reason. Whatever it is about me that attracts kids, I have to find out what it is and kill it. XD;;;
So yes... vacation's probably over tomorrow... but I only work three days this week, unless we end up taking Wednesday too.
