Sep. 10th, 2005 05:20 pmOkay. Had no internet last night, Dad had it disconnected and had everything I needed to reconnect it upstairs in his room for some reason. He was doing something... and he was going to hook it back up, but because he's been going up and down the stairs (between the basement and the main part of the house, to get to the table saw), his leg has been giving him trouble and is now swollen. I think he did it while Mom and I were out.
I bought dinner, hee. Crab legs. They were $5 a pound and a good size, and Craig is spending the night at Anthony's house since it's Anthony's birthday, so wahaha. Food for us. None for Craig. He shall not know.
We're leaving early tomorrow so I can get my hair rebraided. I'm taking it out tonight.
And did I say I bought Mad Maestro a week or so ago? I did. I'd been intrigued by it when it came out, and for some reason I wanted to try it out again. I think Amazon recommended it or something. GameStop had it for five bucks. XDDD Three-day shipping bumped it up to ten, but at that price, if the game sucked, I really didn't care. Nothing could suck as hard as Mojo. THAT is a waste of ten bucks. (Though not mine. Ha, Mom.)
It has taken hold of my soul. It's not nearly as difficult as everyone made it out to be--takes a bit of getting used to, but it's easier than GitarooMan. (In fact, way easier.) There's a lot to pay attention to, but I'm pretty good at it. And I know SO many of the songs. I played a few of them in high school.
I still haven't gotten to Hall of the Mountain King. Must. And there's a bonus level I can't pass... and I have to play through two songs just to get to it. I will pass it tonight.
I don't think there's a soundtrack (and if it is, it's probably long out-of-print by now), so I'm bringing the game and memory card home to record the stuff on the computer.
