May. 10th, 2006 05:58 pmToday was good. ^___^ Dorothy tried to ruin it with her 4-year-old-princess routine, and she did for a little while, but I finally decided to take a "screw you" attitude toward her. She didn't bother me for the rest of the day afterward, but I wasn't going to let her irritate me anymore anyway. She's such a child.
Mariya's birthday was yesterday, so today she brought in a cake. It was a really pretty cake... but a little busy for my tastes. Chocolate and whipped cream and fruit don't mix, thank you. XD; The few pieces I ate were good, though. It was the whipped cream. Mom and Dad got me a cake like that one of the last times we went to Chesapeake Bay (the restaurant that no longer exists, sadly) to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. It was yellow inside, all whipped cream outside. I'd never bothered with the stuff before. It was good. Cold, like ice cream, but lighter. This was the same... but it had all this other stuff in it, so I didn't eat much. Everyone (except Dorothy XD) sang Happy Birthday for us. Debbie asked me why I didn't mention that today was my day, but I never really call attention to that sort of thing. Not in person, anyway. On here it's a little easier. XD;
Apparently Craig got me a present from the store Mom bought me a bracelet from when we went to Franklin Mills. It was this store full of African things... and I was looking at two bracelets, both hematite. One was completely hematite, the other had blue pearls between each piece of hematite. Mom got me the plain one... and Craig has gotten me the one with the blue. I am happy. ^___^ The blue matches my watch, too. It's a perfect match.
I need to ask Dad if he got the necklace I told him Mom was looking at in that same store. I think he did.
Um, anyway. Must eat something. And Mom made me a cake... which is funny, because at work I started craving one of her cakes.
Oh! I saw this in my copy of amNY: I've been waiting for my birthday to roll around just to see what the yearly horoscope thing says for me. This is what it says. It amused me. Not for funny reasons, but... well, here.
Today's Birthday
