No meeting, no boss.

Toying around with the idea of heading out to Brooklyn during my lunch break to see former coworkers. Tas said things have been happening there since I left. Sounds like I left at the right time, too. I want to drop by on a day when everyone's there, though--Tas, Jo, and Jannie specifically. The three of them were pretty much my best friends there.

Maybe I won't do that, though. I don't know. I'm going to be downtown tomorrow for a doctor's appointment, so maybe I could drop by then... I might walk down to the seaport today, walk around the mall for a bit. I'm trying to be a little more active. Yesterday I came home and had taken over 8,000 steps throughout the day, and could have gone well over 10,000 had I gotten on the treadmill, but I was too zapped yesterday to bother. I fell asleep sometime before ten. Didn't have the best sleep, either. I'm still exhausted.

At least it's a nice day.

Wow.

There's a photo in Metro of a premature baby girl. She was only 9.5 inches long and weighed less than 10 ounces when she was born.

It physically hurts to look at her. She's so tiny. She's a bag of bones. I think if they stretched the diaper she's wearing in the photo out beside her, it'd be longer than she is.

That picture is from October, so maybe she's better now, but... wow. That's all I can really say.

Urge to do something is killing me. I'm still lacking any real inspiration, but I want to write more than draw, for some reason. The urge is there. I just have no clue how to start. That's what Seventh Sanctum's for.
