I'm not having a good morning.
Mar. 7th, 2007 09:38 amI'm just getting in. I left late to begin with, got downstairs and had to go back up because I forgot my cell phone, then got across the street before I put my hands in my coat pockets and didn't feel the ID card I need to get into the lobby at work, so had to go BACK. And I didn't find it. Either it fell out somewhere, or I left it at the news stand downstairs, or someone picked my pocket, because it is NOWHERE. So now I have to get another one of those. (Thank GOD it wasn't the state ID. It took a million years for me to get that, and hell no am I waiting for another one.) Then I got stuck on the M in a tunnel for fifteen minutes because there was sick passenger on the Z ahead of me.
There's no red light on my phone, which means the boss has not called yet, and will therefore be in.
I don't want to be here right now. I want to go home and bury myself under my blankets and not come out for a week.
EDIT: $20 to replace the ID.
I told the woman there I'd come back at three when she usually takes the pictures, but screw that. I'll just have to go home and tear my room up looking for it. No ID is worth $20.
