I've decided I'm getting composite fillings, and if Dr. Igor can't put them in, I'll find someone who can. He will not be putting that metal junk in my mouth. The problem is finding someone who can do it. Well, no, that's not the problem. The problem is paying for it, because I have a recommended dentist, but, shock and awe, he doesn't take CSEA. But he would do them correctly.
I'm going to keep my appointment for Friday, though. I'll tell them that's what I want after they give me my options. If composite isn't mentioned, I'll take my business elsewhere. I might end up paying for it, but this is my mouth we're talking about, so I'll do it. Like Mom said, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. My balking at paying $130 every three months for a generic Seasonale seems silly now. When Mom and I went to the gardens last Saturday, had I not been on the pills, I'd have been cramping and miserable. It's money well spent.
Oh well. If they can't do them Friday, I'll come to work. My mouth won't be swollen and numb from novacaine, either. I stared at the nurse like she was crazy when she said my mouth would be fine. Then again, maybe I don't want to go back to that place. ^^; If your mouth's numb and the only thing keeping the pain away is going to fade in a few hours, how are you fine? I'll tell them I'm getting a second opinion. The extractions can be done, though. As long as they put me under.
Got an appreciation gift from my coworkers for Administrative Professionals Day. Thanks to everything, I have some sweet-smelling yellow roses on my desk (was going to bring them home, but they smell too nice), a card signed by everyone, and a monetary gift. And I knew about it, since Alyce sent the notice as a calendar entry, and I get the boss's calendars. XD It was nice of them. Penny and I were pleased. ^_^
Icon because I love his tie. XD
