Okay, my GPA sucks. Didn't realize it was so bad. The third semester (the one I didn't withdraw from) is what dragged me down. Because I was still in my funk and skipping my classes, I got two Ds and a WU, which is basically a late withdrawal with a failing grade.
Binghamton is most likely out of the question, because they're very selective about who they accept. (I already had a feeling I wouldn't be accepted anyway, looking at studentsreview.com. Seriously, I bet the only way they'd accept me is if I show them my high school grades, which weren't bad at all, and pay them cash. 9_9) I might actually have to either readmit to Brooklyn College (and explain WHY my GPA's so horrible, which I'm not sure will go over well), go to another college (and possibly STILL have to explain the GPA), or go to one of the community colleges here for the time being to boost my average and transfer later (which might be the best option, since I just looked at LaGuardia CC and they don't have a required minimum GPA for transfer students).
But I'm still going back to school, and I'll still take out loans if I have to. Which, I probably will, because I do not plan on working--at least not full-time--while I'm learning. I already told Mom last night I don't care about having to pay loans back. There are more important things to worry about.
I kind of wish I could strike the BC years from my record and start over, because I was far more immature than I am now (which isn't saying much...) and was not in the mindset I needed to be in, but I have a feeling if I try to enroll anywhere as a freshman, I'll be found out and dumped.
Anyway. I'm going home.
