Yay for personal errands.

The boss comes back, which already has me in less of a good mood than I should be (although maybe I shouldn't be, not being a morning person...). By the time he gets in, I'm already knee-deep in the contact junk involving Albany and ACS, which makes the mood worse, although I'm dealing with Julie, who is a very nice woman, so it's manageable. Boss calls me into his office to tell me he's giving a presentation over the weekend and needs me to look up statistics on African-American father-daughter relationships.

Usually I have no trouble Googling anything. THIS, however, has got to be the most irritating thing I've ever searched for. I can't find anything. The second I think I HAVE found something, I can't get to it because I need to sign up or pay to see the full article. Half the things are term papers. And I think Google keeps getting hung up on the "father-daughter" part and not so much on the "African-American" part, so I'm getting a lot of duds.

Pssh. I think he tried looking for stuff yesterday while he was out and couldn't find anything I haven't, and decided to dump it on me. He NEEDS to go to a library.

And today's a late day, too. Gah.

Boss:
"Christina, I recommended some changes to the letter that Earl gave you. See if you have any questions about it."

... It's just the letter with changes to various words penciled in. And I'm not even responsible for it. Why on earth would I have questions? Yeah, I'm probably overreacting just a tad, but I'd have a whole lot more respect for him right now if he'd just said, "I made some corrections." We will not get into the fact that every single e-mail he sends has a typo in it somewhere.

Anyway. Regarding his earlier request (9_9), he'll get links to articles with information on father/daughter relationships, whether they focus on blacks or not, and he'll be happy with it. I'm not doing his homework for him. If he's too lazy to read through and pick his own material, he's too lazy to give presentations.

Of course work drove me bananas (Dear Anna, for the 80th time, LEARN TO READ). Class wasn't the best either, though. I think I need to pick another seat next time, although we'll be working with a model, so maybe my seat won't matter too much. We did another still life today. I had a lot of trouble with it and frustrated myself a bit--the first time I've gotten annoyed during that class. (They also turned the air conditioning on for some stupid reason, which didn't help things. Someone must have eventually mentioned it to the guard, because the heat came back, but we were sitting in cold for a good hour.) There are so many more talented people in that class, I'm starting to feel like I really shouldn't be there. I think that's what my problem is.

I've been full of evil and negativity all day. -_- Only good thing about today has been listening to the soundtrack to Eternal Sonata, which I downloaded last night. Very good music... although sometimes I wonder if Motoi Sakuraba composes battle themes the way he does because it's his signature sound or because he seriously has no idea how to make them different. They all have the exact. same. rhythm. Someone said it's like Baten Kaitos got a new soundtrack or something, and while I like Eternal Sonata a million times better than either Baten Kaitos OST (the music generally sounds better to me, but Chopin's creations being sprinkled all over the album is like globs of icing on a huge cake), the battle themes are so similar they might as well be from the same series. Change it up a little.

Still, very good OST. Haven't encountered one song I've skipped. Still tempted to buy the game.

I'm going to bed. There's a high possibility that Kwesi will be out of my hair for a while tomorrow as Maureen and Dona give a presentation at ACS. Unforunately, I have that meeting at three.
