Sigh.

Rani's been gone... three days if you don't count the holiday, and already, Dennis is trying to pin the reports on me. I'm not supposed to be doing them yet. He's supposed to do them for a while. Those are Rani's words. A while. Not A WEEK.

Got curious and started looking around NCL's website for jobs on their ships, specifically the... Spirit of Hawaii, I think it's called. Know what I found? A clerical job. LOL, but not really. -_- Everything else, you need cash-handling experience, or retail experience, or a degree in whatever, etc. Even for cleaning you need knowledge of cleansers and the mixing of cleansers. Probably the only thing I could do other than the assistant job is be a laundry person, and no.

I'm trying to figure out how to write a cover letter for the LIRR assistant conductor job. I haven't had to write a cover letter. I got my first job from a civil service test, and this job was the same. I'd never had to even type up a resume. I've had a resume done for the longest time now, but the cover letter's more difficult.

Today is crawling, damnit. -_- I can't wait for the weekend.

THIS is what a lunar eclipse should look like. It looked so dull last night. I love watching things like that, because they don't happen often... and last night it was just... bleh. I think if I'd have been in PA away from the lights and the smog, it would've looked better. I was extremely disappointed after hearing earlier that the moon would have a reddish glow and it turned out to be murky brown.

Cover letter's done, resume's been tweaked, but I'm going to let Mom (and possibly Dad) look them both over first before I send them off. Apparently I have an uncle who's a retired superintendent. And I can't think of who it would be. Only males in my family I can think of offhand who've worked with the MTA are Dad (a motorman) and Uncle Mike (a bus driver). Maybe Uncle Arnie? I don't remember what he did for a living. o_o

I hope they contact me soon. Really.

And speaking of getting out of here, I need to collect the rest of the money for the office pool and figure out where to buy the tickets from. It's amazing to me that no one had $5 bills. It's even more amazing that Alyce came over a little while ago and said, "Got any change yet?" Go downstairs and buy a pack of gum or something! XD;

LOL, Omarosa is TWELVE YEARS OLD. Seriously, I'm watching last week's episode of Celebrity Apprentice, and she's in the car cursing Piers out and pulling a variation of "Yo mama" insults on him, then they're right outside Central Park and she's cursing him out and going "You're the project manager, MANAGE me!"

She just said "I ain't goin' nowhere, son!"

W.T.F. TWELVE. And the really tragic thing is she probably doesn't realize how horrible she looks.

Anyway. Work wasn't bad today, though it got a bit hectic towards the end, and I got dragged into something again, but this would at least make the MultiPIDs meetings more interesting. I'm going to have hands-on experience with them.

EDIT: Oh, and going to the house this weekend probably won't happen. They're talking about a big snowstorm that's supposed to hit tomorrow. (I should have a LOT of fun walking through snow in those Champions... the soles have no grip at all. They're not meant for bad weather, wet floors, or any slippery surface. They're meant to be cute.) Lake Ariel's supposed to get more than five inches.

Listening to the very last song on Eternal Sonata's soundtrack got me curious. (It's beautiful, by the way. Piano FTW. And I get like this. If I hear a song that has a certain sound to it, I MUST know what's happening in the game at the time it's playing. Listening to some of Kingdom Hearts II's OST was killing me. XD;) I hit YouTube and searched for the ending, and watched it. So I already know the basics of the beginning, and what happens at the end, and the philosophical feel to it. I'd now just be playing the game to get the rest of the story.

But there was this little animated story at the VERY end (past two credits rolls!), where the soundtrack's last song plays. It plays out like a children's story and it's very weird at first (there are a lot of people apparently going "WTF is with the catepillar and the snail?!"), but I think I love this story now.
