RIGHT.

In an attempt to keep myself from spending $60 on a game I may not be able to finish (although I did watch the final battle, and I have to admit, the battle system actually does look fun), I'm cheating. Someone is in the process of uploading every cutscene from Eternal Sonata. I have my computer downloading the two sets up so far (which is I think 50-something movies).

I might still end up buying it. XD It's gorgeous. GORGEOUS, I say.

I hope the "lesson" bits are in that person's movies. I want to see if they show pictures of the actual Chopin or of his in-game model, and since most people playing the game aren't at all interested, no one's posted those parts anywhere. ^^;

I've been forced back into my hole-in-toe Skechers because of the weather. The Champions would've had me breaking my neck. No traction. Not meant for bad weather.

We should be closer to J&R, damnit. Walking there's going to suck. At least I have a gigantic umbrella to keep the snow out of my face.

I love this song. At first I was screaming "EW, OPERA?!!", but now that I've got that mental block out of the way, it's actually a really nice song. And I guess it isn't really opera. And the singer's voice is pleasant.

WORK: I'm not doing reports yet, I'm sending them out... but that's only because I can't access SQL yet.

Okay, the slump's hit. It's later than usual. I think I was fine until our paper delivery came and I started really moving. But I don't have to be alert anymore, I think; the reports are all done for this week, the paper's been put away, mail's been brought up to the mailroom... and it's after 3pm and there's nothing left to do, so my brain's relaxing and the afternoon slump's come over me.

I'm trying to draw Chopin. (Game model, of course.) I can't concentrate enough to do it. ^^; It's just been a day of interruptions... and I'm stuck right now, because there's something about the way I drew his eyes that's just wrong, and the perfectionist in me is being nitpicky, and to fix it NOW would mean having to pull the picture I'm using as a reference out, and lose myself in and focus on the process. I don't like doing that here. I get so focused, I jump out of my skin when someone comes over to ask for something. I really need to be home to do it. The good thing is I have the same picture as my new wallpaper on my computer, so I'll have a bigger image to work with. Here I just have someone's screencap of their desktop, at 800x600, which isn't big enough for me to see details like Chopin's mouth (and the printer only does black and white, which makes it worse). I'm stuck on that too. But eyes first. Eyes are most important. If I don't draw those right, it throws everything off, since that's always where I start my drawings.

I'd like to think I wouldn't have stayed up last night if I hadn't gotten to talk to someone, but I was glad to. It made me happy. But I know myself better than that, and know that even if I hadn't gotten to talk to him, I'd have still stayed up, because I'm stupid. ^^;

3:25pm. The rest of the day needs to fly by now so I can go home and nap. I have nowhere to go tonight.

Or maybe not.

WTF. What kind of number set is that.

And how the hell did we get 65 sets of numbers and STILL blow it? If no one hits this thing, I am not in charge of the next lottery pool. Seriously. I have absolutely no luck for these things. Scratch-off tickets I can do, but not this. -_-

Sigh. Oh well. Work Tuesday. Jury duty Monday.

EDIT: Bah. I told Mom next time the jackpot grows like that again, we're taking a trip down south. ^^;
