Anyway. I'm drawing. (*GASP!*) But Mom and I are home, because the weather was stinky yesterday, and because we're not in PA there are no goblins around to keep me busy with YouTube videos or games, so it was either put pencil to paper or mindless television, because I'm not really in a video game mood right now. I'm drawing Reilly. The picture's actually one I've wanted to draw for more than a year now, but never really got around to, and then the art block hit, so... yeah. ^^; Nothing special, really. She's naked for the time being. (Craig would be ragging on me right now, even though he knows the reason I occasionally do this.) I was trying to draw her in her clothes, but I'm doing a profile view and I couldn't get the lines right, so I'll add her clothes later. I'm focusing on the body itself right now so I can get it right. Maybe this weekend I can finally finish the drawing I promised Corey in November, which was started and unfortunately left incomplete.

Mom has given me her ZVM to use until I get my hands on the new ZEN. She uses an iRiver that she's quite happy with, so unless this one acts up like the other one does, I've got a small player to use again. ^_^

Wow. They actually got to me.

Mom just gave me an envelope from the state court system, and it turns out they've finally reached my name on the list for Court Officer Trainee. I have to reply by March 10th. Of course, I have to lose 11 pounds before the physical examination, whenever that'll be. I'm over the maximum weight they want for my height. If they'd gotten to me last year before I spent all my time stressing out and packing weight on, I wouldn't have to worry about it. -_-; I need to find something I can do to take the weight off, something that does not require extreme diet changes, because I can't put up with that. Guess I'll head over to Curves downtown tomorrow after jury duty, see how much they cost and stuff.

This is what I'd be doing. I'm going to return the letter. I don't have to take the job if I decide I don't want it, and I can't really say I'd turn it down. It's different. I wouldn't have to worry about what to wear every day. I'd see all sorts of different people. (Not always the types I'd want to see, but still, different people. All the time.) No more contracts. No more phones, or at least not much dealing with them. I'm still not excited about the gun thing, but I guess I'll get over it. ^^; I'd probably still have a 9-5, though. Ew.

But, top pay as a trainee is $47,000 (I guess near the end of the two-year traineeship) and after I graduate from the academy I become a Grade 18, which... I can't find the salary for, but it's somewhere in the 50s at least, so if I like the job, hell yeah. XD;

Time-wasting XD

I just spent... I don't know, a good 45 minutes or so making an ES wallpaper, because the one on Namco's official site is busy as hell. Seriously, they have all those images in the fansite kit and don't use them. ^^; I'd upload it to dA, but I'm not sure if I should since you're not allowed to alter the images, and while all I really did was erase the white space around Chopin so he'd look nice against the background, they might call THAT altering the image and jump down my throat about it. It looks nice, though. Much neater. I'd already erased all the crap they have on the website wallpaper. I don't need the XBL logo or Namco's logo. Only thing I forgot was to stick his name somewhere, but I saved the PSD in case I want to change it.

I'm such a geek, hehe. I forgot how annoying it is having to erase white space. -_-

Anyway. I kind of abandoned my drawing earlier to play the Wii, but I think I'll get back to that now. It's late, there's nothing on, and I should really finish it anyway. And this is one of the few nights I'm home and can actually stay up all night coloring it if I want to. Although I'm already tired since I've been mostly relaxed all day.

This apartment smells like steak. No steak was cooked, but when the oven's turned on, that's what it smells like. I guess it's not really the smell of steak, more that I've come to associate the oven smell with "yay, steak!" ^^;; I am not happy about this, because now I want some, and we don't have any, and I ate "dinner" five hours ago and don't want to eat anything else because it's so late. Boo.

Okay, back to drawing and music.
