So my boss...
May. 16th, 2008 03:56 pm... left a sign I made and put up half a year ago on my chair while I was getting lottery tickets for the office pool. The original sign said "If you're rearranging the furniture, please put it back the way you found it" with a thank you at the end. He wants it to instead read: "If you rearrange the furniture, be sure you put it back the way you found it." Of course, with the thank you. I gave him the sheet with the copies of the tickets and he told me "I left the sign on your chair." (Because I'm blind, you know.) "I wanted it to be a little more assertive."
Yeah, because a change in wording is going to make them put the tables and chairs back. Just like Alyce putting signs up all over the bathrooms is going to make people wipe the seat when they tinkle on it. Sure.
Thing is, he had no reason to even be IN the conference rooms. He was walking around because he has nothing to do. If he's that bored, he needs to go home. 9_9 Joseph's told me this is pretty much the kind of thing the boss does to him all the time--juvenile, petty stuff solely because he wants to.
