The continuing education catalog for SVA came! As interested as I am in taking classes there, I feel so self-conscious. I worry too much about not drawing well enough, not having enough experience. I immediately compare myself to others and come up short quite a bit. It's that fear that keeps me from taking a lot of art classes I'm interested in.
I printed out info from NYU SCPS on Monday. Told Mom I was looking at the sound design certificate and the BS in Digital Communications and Media, "even though I can't afford it," I told her. She said, "Well, you could come out with some loans..." and I started to wonder if she'd heard me say NYU. SOME loans? AHAHAHA. XD;; SCPS thankfully doesn't have a GPA requirement in their admissions process. I can take a test. I'd prefer it if more schools did things that way, maybe in addition to or as an alternative to the GPA requirement, because I'm smarter than my college transcript says I am. I wouldn't even mention it to any schools I look into because I don't want those three semesters to count. I want to start from scratch. I want a do-over just this once.
