Craig got an AWESOME report card.
Jun. 11th, 2009 06:06 pmAll 80s and 90s (and 100 in gym). Every class. He told me the reason he was messing up so badly was because there was no consistency in his teachers. One had a motorcycle accident and ended up in the hospital, one or two more got pregnant, that sort of thing. He said people who were doing well before the motorcycle accident ended up on the other side of the spectrum after the replacement came.
Whatever the reason, I'm glad he did so well, because that shows both he and Dad that he can do it. Dad's always on his case about his grades, and he's very impressed.
I've decided I'm going to start off with 6 credits for the Fall I session. (LaGuardia has four sessions a year, two Fall and two Spring, and essentially it's Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer. It allows for more credits to be taken in a shorter amount of time, and the Winter/Summer sessions are accelerated since they're only about six weeks in length.) I need to get myself back into the whole going to school thing... and Dad said I'm like him, and he starts things, but doesn't always finish him. I wish I could say nothing is farther from the truth, but... well, I am his daughter. In pretty much every aspect.
So, I'm gonna take Beginning Drawing and General Psychology. I figure, start with the two things I'm most interested in. Beginning Drawing will likely end up having to be taken after work, which means late Monday nights. (I'm not excited about leaving school at 9:05pm, especially in the winter.)
Whatever. Advisement's in a week.
I'm reading My Sister's Keeper, gotten from Swaptree, because the movie's coming out. I was quasi-interested when I saw the description, and a movie just kind of pushed me over the edge. Good, so far, but I have plenty to go. Also on the subject of Swaptree, I'm finally getting Kirby Canvas Curse, and I'm trying again for No More Heroes.
I want chinese food. But not the rice we got from the other place last weekend. That stuff's so bland, and for pork fried rice, there's like no pork in it.
