I had a Garbage CD listed on Swaptree as Like New (because I swear that's the shape it was in when I listed it!), but opened it last night to find some scratches on the CD and a couple cracks and scuffs on the case. Maybe I just didn't notice the scratches... anyway, I told the person I was trading to that I'd try to get a new copy to honor the "like new" listing, and managed to get one at J&R. Had to spend $15 for it, but it was the only surefire way I could get a copy TODAY, so I bought it. I feel good for doing it.
The second trader that screwed me hasn't logged in at all since August 14th. (He got bad feedback from another trader on 8/18, saying it took two weeks from the date of the tradeSwaptree already had USPS send a mail fraud letter, but I think MMX7 is pretty much gone.
Today wasn't the best day, partly because of what was going on not far from the job at Ground Zero, partly because of the weather, partly because Dona and I started talking about what we were doing/going through eight years ago. I spent half the day in the psychology book and the other half trying not to sleep. Glad to be home. And the weather's gonna get better. And Mom just ordered pizza from Papa John's. I had her put beef and bacon on it, because I haven't had a bacon cheeseburger pizza since Boston's in PA, and Boston's is long gone. (Replaced by a generic Italian restaurant. I cry.)
