1) Did my paper for drawing. Might tweak it a bit. Hopefully it's to Prof. Mayer's liking.
2) Got a canvass letter, FINALLY. Of course, it's for a position in the freaking Bronx... and the Bronx is entirely too far away. I have a half-hour commute right now and a 40-minute commute from work to school. I'm not about to screw that up. Plus no one at my current job gives a crap if I'm sitting around doing homework. I bet if I was drawing for class and told the boss so, he'd let it go. (I was actually drawing for class at work the other day, but he didn't bring it up.) I would love the Grade 15 salary, but it's not worth it. The only thing that would make me jump ship, maybe, is a position back at 55 Hanson Place, where I'd be right on the G line and getting to both work and school would be ridiculously simple. And even then, I'd have to bring up the fact that I'm in school, and, yes, if there's a lull in work, I'll probably be studying.
Oh, and it's at the Bronx Psychiatric Center, which I swear I've gotten letters for before. Maybe for my current title. But yes, thanks, but no thanks.
3) No movement on the loan thing. If I don't get anything by Tuesday or Wednesday, I might just leave it and cash the check. I have a feeling the voucher's lost. I'll still have money for Fall II if I register for any classes then (and it'll probably just be one class, since classes are twice as long in half the time), and I'll get another check come next semester, so at least I'll have the money. That's the important thing. I don't want to pay out of pocket again.
4) There was NO BOSS TODAY. And the office rejoiced. (Rani told me he was being sneaky yesterday, wandering around the office looking in on people. I hate that kind of behavior. I'm glad I missed it.)
5) Took Rani to Blick because she wanted some mirror pieces for an art project, for her bedroom. She'd never been before. She likes it. ^_^ Also got myself a new newsprint pad, because I ran out of paper last class. I had to bum some off of Amir. XD; And speaking of art, homework is in charcoal this time. And next week, too. I'm scared. Charcoal in the classroom is one thing... Charcoal at home? Should I break out a tarp? ^^;;;
6) Going up to the house with Mom and Oliver tomorrow morning. I'm tired, Dad's tired, maybe Craig can do some homework before I get there and we'll have time to play some games.
Anyway, going to start on that homework, because I don't want to have a repeat of last week. There was a lot of last-minute drawing going on. A lot of people seemed to do that, actually, haha. Amir didn't even finish his 18x24.
Also, Hetalia, thank you for saving the name Gilbert for me. (I saw it on a truck this morning.) Before I used to thing of (who else) Gilbert Gottfried. Now I think of Prussia. And that is much preferred.
