It involves two glazes, different shades of blue, and a gradient effect, if I can pull that off. My pot's an annoying shape and dipping it into the glaze is going to be hilarious. Also, it's got cracks. I'm not sure what to make of that. I'm hoping it's just a flesh wound, so to speak, and not something that's structurally important.
Bad news: I can't do it until tomorrow. I had to wax the bottom to make sure glaze didn't stick to it, because glaze on the bottom while it's being fired in the kiln means a ruined $300 shelf for Bethany. It was recommended that the wav be left to set overnight, so that's what I'm doing. I'm going to go in there tomorrow, either in the morning before class or after class, and work on glazing the inside. I'll do that, and go back after IA to do at least some of the outside. The shape of my teapot makes things a little difficult.
I started the math project, but not the actual writing part; I only did the graphing. But like I said, I have until the end of this week.
