Joe: Hi honey. We miss you here already. Your former boss made insufficient plans in operating without you.
Me: Figures! I sent him what I did and how, but we never went over stuff before he was out last week. (To be fair, I sent what I did on Friday.)
Joe: Yep. We had a meeting yesterday n nobody knows where to send the timesheets. If I had hit the lottery... I would have paid for your item!
Me: It says where to send the timesheets in the thing I sent! Did he read it?
Joe: GUESS NOT

I detailed EXACTLY where to send that stuff. Whole addresses, exact person to send it to, names and phone numbers for people that need things faxed to them, EVERYTHING. I made sure I put everything in. I even typed out instructions on how to order supplies on the procurement system even though there are instructional videos on the website. And, in typical boss form, he didn't bother reading it.

Have to say, SO glad I'm out of there. I wasn't thinking, I should have put a read receipt on that e-mail to see what he did with it. -_-

And to think, he gets paid the big bucks, and you were just some underling to him. I bet he appreciates you now that you're no longer around to keep things rolling!
