meitantei_cjNYC public schools are closed tomorrow because of the snowstorm. Y'all know if Giuliani were still mayor, this wouldn't have happened. ^^; I'm surprised they actually closed the schools, they never close them... they always leave them open and dismiss students early because 2/3s of the teachers don't show up or something.
Here's hoping the governor is as generous and keeps us out of work. Although, I doubt that'll happen. The only freebie we got was the day after the blackout, and that's only because most of us still didn't have power or running water and would've come to work funky... ^^;;
EDIT: In other news, I have a huge craving for some chocolate-chip cookies all of a sudden. Fresh-baked, gooey chocolate-chip cookies.
