Craig and I have been playing Cogs on Steam. Yay for puzzle games. :D Reminds me a lot of Layton. Tear-your-hair-out hard sometimes, but you feel awesome when you beat a hard puzzle.

Spoons

I used to LOVE this game. We'd play this, Spit, and Bullshit during lunch in junior high. A few of us would smuggle extra sporks from the cafeteria kitchen to use as the spoons, haha.

Today's going to be such a waste of a day. I need an online course to keep me busy, damnit. ^^;

And Napster is a big turd. I told it to burn the CD text on the Yellowcard CD I made this morning. I get here, and it's still coming up Unknown Artist, Unknown Title. I hate that. -_- Unless I'm misunderstanding what "burn CD text" means.

Also, Mom sent me a picture of Oliver she took this morning. (I needed that, because I really miss him. I've become very attached to that dog. I kept looking at my doorway last night expecting to see him looking at me.) He's just sitting in his favorite spot in the kitchen, on the mat in front of the refrigerator. He's also not looking at the camera. I suspect he was and turned away when he realized Mom was going to take a picture. Mom also said he's not stupid, because she let him out this morning to pee, his foot hit the ice on the steps, and he looked at her like she was nuts. XD He does that. He's expressive. You can tell what he's thinking, which I love about him.

Oh, she also said he misses me and follows her around constantly, and she thinks he's a little pissed off I'm not there, because he went in my bathroom (which is also Craig's bathroom, but he always sees me go in there) and peed at the toilet. XDDD Hopefully they'll bring him when they come to pick me up.

We have a fawn that's been sitting in our yard for the past two days. It's really small (Dad sent Mom and I pictures, I'll edit this post with them later) and it came by itself, and Dad thinks it might be on its own. It was resting against our house yesterday, and today it's stupidly hot out, so it's sitting in the shade. It does know enough to hide itself in tall grass, at least... but Dad was mowing the lawn and it didn't get up to leave. He was wondering if it's weak. I told him not to feed it anything but water after doing some research, and that's IF he feeds it. Its mom might be around somewhere and he just hasn't seen her.

It's so cute. It's the kind of thing that makes me want to volunteer at an animal rescue shelter or something. Same with the bird we found that had fallen out of its nest... which I just learned (through the research for the fawn) we should have put back in its nest. It wouldn't have bothered the mother at all. Hopefully it won't happen again, but at least we know now. I felt bad that we couldn't really do anything for it though.

I think I'm experiencing huge amounts of animal love lately. I love them anyway, but between Bambi in our yard and people posting videos of their cats (AWWW.), I just want something of my own, I think. Mom is against getting another cat. She likes cats, but it'd end up being left in the apartment every weekend because we couldn't bring it to the house. And Dad and Craig's allergies would probably act up anyway. I know I want another pet, and something I can actually hold and play around with. Not like fish or something.

Unrelated: Played Bookworm again last night and beat the hell out of my previous high score. Played for two hours, got to level 34, hit the top rank it gives you (at which point it then gives you the same rank over and over with a number in a star--I ended with a rank of Ultimate Bookworm #2), and I think my score was somewhere around 1,800,000. My best word was "spots", which had three bonus tiles in it and ended up being worth over 5,000 points. XD I lost solely because of an accidental word. Hadn't meant to use it, let the button go accidentally, and was left with a burning U tile with absolutely nothing around it I could use.

I feel the need to spread the love. If you like word games, Google "Bookworm Deluxe".

Well, I sent the money order today, anyway, and got a certificate of mailing. Probably should have gotten a delivery cofirmation, too, but one will probably be enough. I told them to send any receipts to the work address and not home. I actually might change my address on WebSIMS back to the work address. (Because I found the old WebSIMS site under the college's link on Google.) So, $576.05 out of my hands. $904.80 to go. Better than the combined amount.

And I got Picross DS, so I shall play that when I get home. Reserved SSBB and Super Mario Galaxy, had a nice little chat about games with one of the guys at GameStop (I swear I'm like, the only woman that goes in there for herself and not for her kid, because they really don't expect me to have the knowledge I do unless they know me, and it seems like they've gotten new staff in there... XD).

Printed out some workout photos... really out of a need to find some leg exercises I could do while sitting at my desk. I found some good stuff though. Well, I think. Have to see if using them actually works, hehe. And for that, I need to adjust my eating habits just a bit, and that's really the hardest part of all this. I was supposed to get a jump rope, but didn't go in that direction. Maybe when I leave later, I'll get something. I just need something to do that's not the blasted treadmill. Bo-ring.

We're not doing too much this weekend. Mom and I might go see Hairspray. Maybe I'll finally ride my bike, hee.
