Well, we know he can bark!

Sherlock was lying down in Mom's room, and barked at a passing fire truck. XD First time we've heard him do ANYTHING vocal. He's definitely settling in. I went out to Petland Discounts to get him a couple of chewing bones, since he likes to nibble on things. He got a towel earlier and ran around the back of the apartment with it. Kinda sad we can't actually let him play with the towel, but if we do that, next thing you know, he'll be pulling our clothes and shoes apart. He's totally the type. Oliver was much more subdued and never chewed on anything but rawhide bones. Then again, Oliver wasn't a puppy and was probably raised with a cat. ^^; Sherlock has a tough act to follow. He's a good dog, though.

Taking a nap now. I kept waking myself up last night to check on him, because the other night, he left Mom's room and peed outside her door, and I wanted to make sure he didn't wake up and need to go out in the middle of the night. He didn't move for most of the night. My concerns weren't even necessary. As a result, I'm exhausted and not thinking clearly, so nap time for me.
